Lilly's 4th birthday

Well, Lilly turned 4 on Sept 24. We had her birthday party on the 27th. She had a Tinkerbell party. My sister-in-law made her castle cake with Tink & her fairy friends on it. It was beautiful. It was way better than I had imagined it to be.
Wally made Lilly the Jolly Roger ship out of cardboard & wood. That was defintely way better than I had planned out. He did it all on his own. It took him most of the week to put together and us threatening the kids if they got in it. It was great and the kids had fun with it. I purchased pirate wear & wings for the kids to wear. All of course from the Dollar Tree. And each kid got to take home a Tinkerbell or Pirates of Carribean placemat. I thought that was a neat idea. I hate when my kids go to parties and get alot of junk stuff that ends up getting thrown away. All in all Lilly had a great birthday. Oh yeah I had glitter spray for the girls to spray in their hair too. That glitter was everywhere! But it was fun!

T.S. Fay

Well, we had a decent weekend compared to others I know. I didn't lose power! I couldn't believe it either. Living in the country when your power goes off it stays off for a while. Luckily we survived Tropical Storm Fay! I hardly had any limbs in my yard thank goodness. We did break child labor laws and made our kids pick up what did fall. Then we went to uncle Ben's to make them pick up over there too! I had my little nephews in on it too!
I am glad though we didn't have a tree fall on the house. One of my friend's had her house burn the other week and this weekend had a huge oak tree fall on it. How crazy is that?
I let the kids run and play out in the rain. Lilly was out there in her drawers & t-shirt. You would have thought we were at a swim park or something. She was going crazy. Jesse was playing in it then decided to put a sweat shirt on (like he wasn't going to get rained on with that!?) Anyway, they had fun and didn't get sick like most people would think!

This week

Well, Wally got his cast off Monday and went back to work Tuesday. Thank goodness, he was driving me nuts! He also has to fight the morning traffic now to take Jesse to school!
Wally & uncle Ben got Jesse a go-cart this past weekend. We all went over there with my nephew and his 4 wheeler. Ben has alot of trails on his farm so we leave it over there. The kids were too dang funny riding that thing. Lilly even got on it and wanted it wide open. Of course I didn't let her drive by herself. I was kindof worried about getting on the 4 wheeler because it is a smaller one but it held up! My brother-in-law is small so he is the only adult that really looked right on it! I will have to take pictures next time we go over there. Jesse always comes home plum dirty from all that field dirt flying everywhere.
That is about it happening around these parts!

Back to school!

Well, it is that time again! Jesse started last week back to school. He is in first grade now. At this school the kids are more on their own walking to class and stuff like that. And he has homework. My baby is growing up too fast! The other day after I picked him up from school he asked when can he date! I was like Dude, I am just getting use to you having homework much less do I want to think about you liking girls! Then he asked why daddy & uncle Ben don't date other girls. I was like "well, they are married and they don't need any other women". Then he asked "well, what if yall die then can they date?" I said "no, because we will haunt them if they do." He is your typical boy!
Lilly didn't start this year because of her birthday being the end of Sept. I have been working with her each day on things though.
Wally has been home the past 3 weeks because he broke his hand. His right one at that! He goes to the doctor next Monday so hopefully, he will be going back. He is driving me crazy!
Other than that we have been getting back in the grove again with school. I still get road rage over idiots on the road though. I try to leave my house early to avoid them!

Last week of school

Well, this is the last week of school. Jesse had his graduation last week. Lilly had her's yesterday. I can not believe my babies are growing up so fast. They both are becoming so independent. Jesse can't wait till first grade because the playground is cool! Typical reaction to a 6 year old boy, huh? They both have made little friends that we mothers have already exchanged numbers. Now I look forward to little spend the night parties & giggling kids running through our house!

Back from Disney!

Well, we made it back from Disney! I had fun but was tired & ready to be home. The kids got to come out with Chip & Dale @ the campfire singalong. That was neat! It is the Year Of A Million Dreams so they are doing little extra things like that for familes. Jesse got a birthday pin & Lilly got a first visit pin to wear, & of course they didn't wear them. I put them up for later.

This past Sunday Jesse woke up & looked out his bedroom window & saw a turkey gobbler by our house in the field. I was going to take a picture but my camera was in the truck. It was huge too! Then yesterday in the field behind our house we saw 3 deer. Jesse is definetly going to be a true hunter!

The school year is ending soon. Next week Jesse has his kindergarten graduation. I will probaly cry. Then Lilly has an end of the year program @ her church school. My babies are growing up too fast.

What's happening this week....

Well, Thursday we are off to Disney! I am excited! This will be my second time ever and Lilly's first time. This was one of Jesse's birthday presents from us. We are taking a camper so it is a little cheaper!
This weekend Wally and his best friend killed a wild hog in Ben's front yard. It was gross! The guts came ut of the other side. We took a picture of Jesse with it & the gun. Blood got everywhere.
Also, this weekend my brother got out of jail. I really hope this time he straightens up but I am not getting my hopes up. It is hard dealing with a drug addict in the family.
